Are you one of those people that could eat Nutella out of a jar with a spoon? Yep! Thought so, no worries! Youāre not alone! I am too. And you, yes YOU!!! donāt try and tell me you wouldnāt cause youāre just lying to me and most importantly yourself⦠Emh rude! I do genuinely believe that you could rate people on these kind of things. I mean this seriously! I would never trust someone that doesnāt like some kind of a hot beverage, has never at one point liked the TV show friends or have a serious love for Nutella! Itās just weird to me; theyāre obviously just not my kind of people! Donāt Worry! Youāre totally my kind of person. š
Anyway, if like me you loooooovvvee nutella š, but donāt necessarily loooove how it makes you feel or more importantly how you look then this is the recipe for you! Welcome to your new best friend. Nutritious Nutellaš«!! The taste of Nutella without the nastyās and with added goodness! š¼
Now lets get real here. I am in no way telling you that you could eat a whole jar of this and that it wouldnāt be high in fat (healthy fat, stop freaking out please! Itās very important so just accept it and get over it!) So you just need to treat it as a healthy treat and youāre away! ā¤ļø
Makes 1 Jar
1 Cup Hazel Nuts (Skin on)
1 Cup Cashew Nuts or Almonds (you can mix them too)
1 tsp. Vanilla Powder or 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract (Optional)
100g 70% Dark Chocolate or 100g of my Raw Chocolate (oh Baby!) š
First rule of fight clubā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Throw the nutty nuts into a roasting dish of some shape or fashion and roast for approx. 5 minutes until golden brown.
Once golden, pop the nuts into the food processor and blitz on high for approx three minutes until the nuts have come together to make the most amazingly nutty liquidy mess.š
Now this is the fun part, lob in the chocolate and watch this go from nutbutter to Nutella heaven!!! Ohhhh BABBBBBYYYY!! š±ā¤ļø Iāll be honest I think this is as close to food porn as it gets! Move over Nigella! š
If you want this sweeter you can throw a few dates in or a drizzle of maple syrup, but I personally think itās Amazeballs as is!
Store in an airtight jar for up to 3 months.
